phpWatermark 0.1

phpWatermark aims to provide a simple way of marking an image with a digital “watermark” to prevent unauthorized use.

Usage:
Usage instructions are provided inside the package

Current features include:

  • Accepts either resources or filenames
  • Automatic choosing of best color for watermark text

TODO:

  • TTF support
  • Support for watermark images (e.g. company logos)
  • Better checking of required functions
  • No more “die” instructions
  • Configurable overlay intensity

New release of Pgmarket - Translation is on its way

Some days ago Marco Pratesi has published a new version of Pgmarket numbered 2.0.3. With this version some files in the locale-directory have changed and some texts have been added. The necessay cahnge of the german-language package ist currently under development and will soon be available here and on the homepage of Pgmarket…

German language module for Pgmarket 2.0.1

It took a long time, but finally the German language module for Pgmarket 2.0.1, a web shop by Marco Pratesi, is ready for download.

You can find the download by clicking on “Downloads” in the left navigation or by clicking here.
Installation of the module should be very easy: Just extract the contents of the archive into your Pgmarket 2.0.1 distribution directory (tar -xzvf pgmarket-2.0.1-de.tar.gz).
Set a symbolic link from application-de.inc.php to application.inc.php (ln -s application-de.inc.php application.inc.php).
The rest of the setup should now work as described in the original Pgmarket documentation.

mrtg-eth once again

Much has happend since my last posting about mrtg-eth, so I would like to provide you with a small up-to-date info on the project.

In the meantime mrtg-eth-probe has been listed on Freshmeat (http://www.freshmeat.net/projects/mrtg-eth) and even on SecurityFocus (I don’t have an URL for this, but you can find it using Google). Some people have subscribed to new releases and there has been a total number of 1745 Downloads via Sourceforge until today. Thanks for this go to Freshmeat, for accepting the project. As you can see in the View/Download statistics on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/project/stats/index.php?report=last_30&group_id=35392) each new release note published on Freshmeat pushed the access numbers up. Though at the moment mrtg-eth-probe is stalled, because I don’t know of any missing functions and it works quite fine for me. For some weeks I haven’t received any mails about bugs or missing functions and thus it seems to me, that you like the program as it currently is. But of course I appreciate any mails regarding the project!
