On his blog Google technician Matt Cutts just announced a new Google service called “Google Pages“. It’s a simple page creator combined with webhosting. You can setup your site from a choice of templates and edit the content in a AJAX web editor. Usage doesn’t differ much from all other Google services like Gmail and stuff, even the autosave features from Gmail is there ;-)

It’s not possible to save the generated to your own webspace, it will be published on a google subdomain like user.name.googlepages.com.
